- To verify that your card Issuer company is ready to activate your Visa card, click on our Issuer Bank page.
- If the Issuer is ready to register the card, click on the appropriate link to go directly to the Verified by Visa activation page.
- Your Issuer bank will assist you in to complete the activation process quickly and easily.
- You will be asked to select the password you will use to shop online at participating online merchants. Please choose a password that is easy to remember.
- Once you complete these steps, you will be ready to shop online with the same confidence and peace of mind you enjoy when you shop with your Visa card at physical merchants.
Some card Issuers make the activation process even easier for their cardholders during checkout. To complete this quick and easy registration, please follow your Issuer bank's instructions and start shopping online with total confidence at any participating virtual merchant.
Your purchase is secure with Verified by Visa
- Once you activate your Visa card in the Verified by Visa service, go shopping at any participating merchant and proceed to checkout the same way you normally do when you shop online.
- When you enter your VISA card number, the Verified by Visa window will display on your screen. Enter the password you selected during the registration process.
- After you enter your password, your Issuer bank will confirm your identity to the virtual merchant. (The merchant never sees your password.)
