Account Information Security (AIS)
When our customers use their cards to make purchases at the point of sale, over the Internet, by phone or through the mail, they expect their account information to be handled in a secure manner. For this reason, the Visa Latin America and Caribbean Region (LAC) has created the Account Information Security (AIS) Program.
The objective of the AIS Program is to protect cardholder information, regardless of its location, ensuring that banks, merchants and service providers maintain the highest information security standards.
