Training and professional development
One of the main goals of the Training and Professional Development Team at Visa International, Latin America and Caribbean Region, is to provide employees with training and professional development opportunities that allow them to perform more effectively. The team's goal is to provide tools that assist employees and their supervisors in creating a professional development plan to help employees achieve their full potential at Visa.
Based on an annual review of the employee's development needs, a training plan is prepared to strengthen and continue developing the values and competencies established by Visa International, Latin America and Caribbean Region.
Training and professional development opportunities are provided through various mechanisms such as seminars, special assignments or projects, and distance learning platforms. All this is done to give employees an opportunity to develop their abilities and knowledge through time, using the most effective method in each case.
